Daniel completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Melbourne and has since focused on delivering thoughtful, patient centred care. He is known for taking the time to explain treatments clearly and making sure his patients feel informed and comfortable every step of the way. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with particular interests in root canal treatment, restorative care and dental aesthetics. Daniel is especially passionate about creating a pain free experience and believes that visiting the dentist should never feel stressful or uncomfortable. His gentle approach and attention to detail help patients feel at ease, even those who may be feeling nervous.

Daniel takes a holistic approach to dentistry, understanding that oral health is closely linked to overall wellbeing. Dr Julia Ahn, or Julia as most patients know her, brings a calm, thoughtful and genuinely caring approach to her role at Highway Dental. With a background that spans Seoul in South Korea and Toronto in Canada, she has a natural ability to connect with people from all walks of life and is proud to offer consultations in both English and Korean.

Julia completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the Melbourne Dental School in 2018, after first studying Neuroscience and Psychology at the University of Toronto. This unique combination has shaped the way she cares for her patients. She understands that visiting the dentist is not always easy, and takes the time to listen, explain things clearly and help patients feel comfortable and in control.

Her approach to dentistry is simple. Do what is right for the patient. Julia focuses on thorough examinations and thoughtful treatment planning, with a strong emphasis on prevention and long term oral health. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, particularly helping patients through dental emergencies and getting them out of pain quickly and effectively. She also has a keen interest in children’s dental health and early orthodontic care, including clear aligners for mild cases.

Dr Alice Olivia Tanoemarga, known to her patients as Dr Alice, has been part of the Mount Waverley community for over 15 years. Originally from Surabaya in Indonesia, she brings a gentle, welcoming nature to her work and enjoys building genuine connections with her patients. She is fluent in both English and Indonesian, helping patients feel at ease and understood from the moment they walk in.

Dr Alice completed her Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Melbourne in 2008 and has spent her career providing consistent, patient focused care within a trusted and well established practice. She values the relationships she has built over the years and enjoys caring for multiple generations of the same families.

She has a particular interest in aesthetic composite restorations, where she can combine her attention to detail with a creative touch. Dr Alice enjoys working closely with her patients to find practical and thoughtful solutions that suit their individual needs. Her approach is calm, compassionate and always centred on achieving the best possible outcome, even when there are challenges to work through.

Dentistry has always appealed to Dr Alice because it allows her to work with her hands while blending science with creativity. She enjoys the balance of precision and artistry, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to someone’s comfort, confidence and overall quality of life.
